The ASIC BU Eval Team which's part of the Digital Business Unit in ADI Bangalore is seeking a silicon validation engineer who’ll play a key role in the validation of state-of-the-art mixed signal & Digital SoC devices which are complex and industry leading. You'll become an integral member of the development team, participate in developing innovative, high performance, bench validation hardware and software solutions for our ASIC BU product portfolio.
Key responsibilities include:
Design of innovative, reliable and efficient bench validation hardware solutions for our ASICs
Development of the bench validation software solutions as per the specifications using labview, python, others..etc
Participate in DFT definition & development, through direct involvement with the Design Team early in the New Product Development, to improve testability and debug
Execution of all the validation phases of the projects including Silicon functionality, Characterization, Correlation..etc
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have a strong practical knowledge of Analog & Digital Electronics, be self-motivated, capable of accepting responsibility, show initiative and demonstrate strong skills in identifying and solving technical problems.
Key Qualities:
Have a degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
Have 4-5years’ of hands-on experience in mixed signal or digital validation on bench
Have experience in characterization of blocks like high precision ADCs, DACs, PLLs, Power Management Blocks like Bucks, LDOs & validation activities of very low power SoCs
Have working knowledge of digital interfaces such as SPI, I2C, I3C, UART
Have knowledge of the bench software development and working knowledge of IAR, Keil and other tool chains
Have good analytical & statistical skills and knowledge of python programming
Be experienced in mixed-signal & digital h/w design & layout with lead skills in understanding the problems/limitations in hardware development
Be well versed with the usage of bench equipment such as Oscilloscope, VI meter, Signal generator and analyzers
Be capable of working with the test engineers/test team for correlation & validation plan
Be self-motivated, and willing to accept responsibility
Possess strong interpersonal communication skills and be a team player
