General Summary:

The Yield and Diagnostics group is responsible for enabling robust diagnostics, driving post silicon debug, and ensuring predictable diagnostics readiness across products. In this role, you will be responsible forend to enddiagnostics execution and integration, working across Design, DFT, Test Engineering, Failure Analysis, and EDA vendors. As diagnostics automation scales, this role ensures that execution, exception handling, and cross functional closure remain reliable and on track

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

• Own diagnostics enablement and readiness for multiple products in parallel.
• Drive cross functional closure with DFT, Test Engineering, and Failure Analysis teams.
• Lead diagnostics related vendor engagement, escalations, and follow through.
• Handle exceptions and edge cases not fully covered by automated flows.
• Ensure diagnostics deliverables integrate cleanly into product execution timelines.

Level of Responsibility

• Works independently with minimal supervision.
• Owns execution across products with significant accountability for outcomes.
• Provides technical guidance and direction to other engineers.
• Decisions can affect multiple projects and teams.
• Requires strong verbal and written communication to convey complex technical issues across functions.

Required Competencies

• Strong background in silicon diagnostics, yield engineering, or post silicon debug.
• Proven ability to drive cross functional execution and closure.
• Ability to manage multiple complex priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Clear and concise technical communication skills.
• Strong Linux fundamentals and scripting usage.
• Experience with data analysis, diagnostics workflows, and automation-driven systems.
• Proficiency with standard productivity and collaboration tools.

Additional Competencies

• Experience working with EDA vendors and commercial diagnostics tools.
• Exposure to scan, memory, or system level diagnostics.
• Experience operating in multi-site, global engineering teams.
