The Security BU PTE Team which's part of the Digital Business Unit in ADI Bangalore is seeking a PTE engineer who’ll play a key role in testing Security related mixed signal & Digital products with highly parallel multi-site test. You'll become an integral member of the development team, participate in developing innovative, highly parallel multi-site & production ready hardware and software test solutions for our Security products portfolio.
Key responsibilities include:
Design of innovative, reliable and efficient Probe and Test solutions with highly parallel multi-site test capability using mixed-signal/Digital ATE platforms (primarily ultra-flex and 93K)
Development of the ATE software solutions as per the specifications
Play a role in DFT/BIST definition & development, through direct involvement with the Design Team early in the New Product Development, to reduce FFC and improve testability
Execution of the Test development phases of the projects including Silicon functionality, Characterization, Yield Analysis, Correlation & Offshore Production release
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have a strong practical knowledge of Analog & Digital Electronics, be self-motivated, capable of accepting responsibility, show initiative and demonstrate strong skills in identifying and solving technical problems.
Key Qualities:
Have a degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
Have 4-5years’ of hands-on experience in mixed signal or digital test
Have knowledge of the ATE software development and working knowledge of Teradyne Flex and/or 93K ATE systems
Have good analytical & statistical skills and knowledge of the Perl/C++ programming
Be experienced in ATE highly parallel multi-site test digital h/w design & layout, with lead skills in understanding the problems/limitations in hardware development
Be experienced in releasing multi-site test programs to off-shore production test houses
Be well versed with the usage of bench equipment such as Oscilloscope, VI meter, Signal generator and analyzers
Be capable of working with the reliability engineers on the product qual
Be proactive and work under own supervision
Be self-motivated, and willing to accept responsibility
Possess strong interpersonal, teamwork & communication skills
