Senior Fire Fighting Engineer

Job Description :

• Water supply layout/storm water design layout/drainage layout, statutory approval drawings, material take-off from layouts
• Basic design calculations
• Coordination with other MEP and structural services
• Work within time limits to complete deliverables on time
• Share knowledge and experience with other staff in the section and organisation particularly to help develop more junior staff

Candidate Specification :

• BE/B.Tech in Mechanical 
• Possess experience in the field of design and modelling 
• Experience in drafting of firefighting layouts, Schematic diagrams and preparation of BOQ
• Experience in relevant design software such as Auto CAD, REVIT and IT Literacy
• Have good oral and written communication skills.
• Have 7 to 12 years of experience in Firefighting design, in roles of increasing responsibility and project complexity.
• Experience in design of internal/external water supply, sewerage and drainage (storm water and surface water), sprinkler, hydrant and gas based firefighting systems. 
• Well versed in reviewing and checking of drawings and calculations
