Member of Technical Staff (Frontend)

We, at ThoughtSpot, are looking for a Member of Technical Staff(Frontend). Come join a team of world-class engineers building ThoughtSpot’s relational search engine. We are looking for engineers with a proven track record of being industry visionaries to join the team responsible for designing and developing ThoughtSpot’s search & visual analytics applications & experiences. 

At TS, visualizations are at the core of our applications. As we rapidly expand our customers base, we are embarking on challenging and innovative initiatives. These include enabling 'bring your own charts' functionality and re-architecting charting solutions to adopt micro front-end based architecture. Our goal is to deliver an unparalleled visualization experience by closely integrating with other product surface areas.

What You'll Do:

• Design and develop data visualizations that are central to our applications with top quality
• Strong problem solving, analytical, design, decision-making and communication skills
• Take technical ownership of one or more modules and collaborate with leads, managers, and architects to ensure successful delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of visualization features across various product areas.
• Are obsessed with customer experience and uncompromising engineering standards
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data visualization to keep our solutions at the cutting edge.

What You'll Bring:

• At least 4+ years of front end engineering experience
• Proven experience in developing complex data visualizations using modern libraries and frameworks like D3.js, Chart.js, Highcharts
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and experience with front-end frameworks like React, Angular, Vue.js, GraphQL
• Strong proficiency in test frameworks with a focus on quality like Jest for unit tests, Playwright for end-to-end tests
• Exposure to infrastructure tools such as Nginx, Node or Grunt is a plus
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Proficient in addressing cross-browser compatibility issues and passionate about architecting responsive UIs, with the ability to identify, debug, and eliminate performance bottlenecks.
