This Job is for a most challenging, complex, high volume and large scale project having Cloud deployment across all the AWS regions. Having C/C++ hands experience is mandatory.

Job responsibilities includes the following:
1. Manage the team of 6+ SDEs who are working for Cloud development (AWS services, API, CDK, Pipelines etc.). 2. Own the Career growth for the direct reports 3. Own the delivery of Cloud components 4. Own the Cloud pipelines and the Cloud infrastructure of 26+ AWS regions
A day in the life
The following are the day to day activities:
1. Task assignment for the team, setting the priorities, unblocking the team if they are blocked due to technical or partner issues
2. Code and Design review
3. Monitoring the Shepherd tickets
4. Monitoring the Bug inflow (from various sources)
5. Monitoring the health of the AWS infrastructure, having mechanism for proactive management
We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:
Bangalore, KA, IND
- 7+ years of engineering experience
- 3+ years of engineering team management experience
- 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi tier web services experience
- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations
- Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems
- 7+ years of experience in handling various AWS services, Deployment Pipelines, CDK, Docker containers
- 7+ years of experience in Cloud Architecture and design
- 5+ years of experience in C/C++
- Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy
- Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills, and make them more effective, product software engineers
- Experience delivering products against plan in a fast-paced, multi-disciplined, distributed-responsibility and often ambiguous environment
- Experience in leading the definition and development of multi tier web services
- Strong experience in handling various AWS services, Deployment Pipelines, CDK, Docker containers
- 7+ years of experience in Cloud Architecture and design
- 5+ years of experience in C/C++
