Labcorp is seeking a Senior Android Developer to join our team at Yeshwanthpur office.

Work Schedule

Remote based - 2nd shift (2PM - 11PM IST)
 

Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level Android applications using Kotlin, Java, and Jetpack Compose

  
  

• Lead end-to-end mobile application development including architecture, development, testing, deployment, and post-release support

  
  

• Collaborate with Product Management, UX/UI Design, QA, and Backend Engineering teams

  
  

• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party SDKs

  
  

• Ensure adherence to mobile security standards and best practices

  
  

• Conduct code reviews and optimize applications for scalability, maintainability, and performance

  
  

• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks

  
  

• Implement secure authentication and encryption mechanisms for sensitive data handling

  
  

• Maintain technical and compliance-related documentation

  
  

• Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and recommend enhancements

  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)

  
  

• 5+ years of Android application development experience

  
  

• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java

  
  

• Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose

  
  

• Experience with Android Architecture Components such as ViewModel, LiveData, and Room

  
  

• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and API integrations

  
  

• Knowledge of mobile application security principles and secure coding practices

  
  

• Experience implementing OAuth 2.0, JWT, biometrics, or similar authentication protocols

  
  

• Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows

  
  

• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
