Job Description:
Once here you will-
- Actively engage in development, design and analysis of Hyperion Essbase ASO/BSO, Hyperion Planning (PBCS and EPBCS), Hyperion Business Rules, Hyperion Calc Manager, Data Relationship management (DRM), Hyperion Financial Reports (FR), Narrative Reporting, Hyperion Financial Data Quality Management (FDM), Hyperion Smart view, Oracle data integrator.
- Configure Applications, Hierarchy, Attributes and UDA’s.
- Design, develop and customize data forms for the users to input Forecast, Budget and variance reporting.
- Update / translate the business logic / rule in the system to reflect changes in the business / financial models such as changes to drivers, calculation logic change.
- Create and maintain Essbase calculations, MaxL, Windows batch and any other scripting.
- Create and maintain integrations between Hyperion and other systems using Load Rules, FDMEE, Python, and SQL.
- Adhere to relevant controls, SOX compliance, Enterprise software Delivery Methodology
- Understand FP&A processes and architecture, provide day to day support like bug fixes, minor/major enhancements, maintain technical documentation.
- Adhere to Project timelines, complete the testing required, update JIRA stories.
- Engage with team members, partnering with Business and wherever required connect with cross functional teams.
What you will bring-
- 4-7 years of experience in Oracle Planning Cloud, EPBCS, PBCS, Data Management (FDMEE), EPM Automate, Oracle Hyperion Essbase, Hyperion Planning.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or related discipline or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in design, development and analysis of Hyperion Essbase ASO/BSO, Hyperion Planning, Hyperion Business Rules, Hyperion Calc Manager, Data Relationship management (DRM), Hyperion Financial Reports (FR), Narrative Reporting, Hyperion Financial Data Quality Management (FDM), Hyperion Smart view, Oracle data integrator.
- Solid knowledge of MS SQL, Oracle SQL, ETL processes, multidimensional analysis, databases, data calculation, and aggregation techniques
- Good knowledge in building Applications, Hierarchy, Attributes & UDA and load data through Essbase Studio
- Must be able to work creatively, calmly, flexibly and under tight deadlines and to respond quickly and positively to shifting/multiple demands and opportunities
- Attention to detail, and ability to multitask and meet deadlines within scope, schedule and budget
- Functional understanding of budgeting and forecasting, COA, and accounting
- Proficiency with operational support processes and project management methodologies, tools and processes
- Self-motivated, able to inspire a team, work independently as well as with others in a matrix environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels within the organization
- Ability to work collaboratively across the organization: interpret user requirements, identify the root cause, research possible solutions, identify most feasible solutions
- Must be willing to collaborate and engage with a global team which will involve some early morning or late evening meetings
