Software Engineer III

Job Overview

The ‘Software Engineering Team Leader’ will be responsible for leading, mentoring, and organizing developers, removing blockers, and maintaining coding standards. Their role covers both technical direction and people management.

Responsibilities (List all)

·Delivery Ownership: ensures predictable delivery by breaking large requirements into shippable milestones, managing sprint goals, and tracking progress.

·Technical Leadership & Quality: define technical standards, perform code reviews, and guide architectural decisions, address technical backlog, reduce and avoid defects.

·Mentoring & People Management: act as coaches, mentoring junior members to improve skills and fostering a positive team culture.

·Bridging Communication: serve as the liaison between the development team and other stakeholders, ensuring requirements are understood and expectations are managed.

Removing Blockers: identify and remove obstacles, such as technical issues or dependencies, to keep the team focused on development

Educational Qualifications:

Essential

·Graduation/ Degree: B.E (Electronics/Telecommunications/Instrumentation/Computers/IT)

Preferable

·Post-Graduation/ PGDM: Embedded Technologies from institutes like CDAC

·Courses/ certifications:Scrum Master, AI

Required Skills:

Essential

·Expertise in Embedded C++, RTOS, Device drivers, compiler linkers, debuggers

·Communication protocols - I2C, SPI, Modbus, TCP/IP and other

·Fair understanding of Electronics Hardware design

·Good spoken and written communication skills, Testing

Preferable

·Knowledge of PDLC processes like Agile, SCRUM,

·CI/CD, DevOps, Release management experience

Experience: (Domain)

Essential

·Engineering, Instrumentation, Embedded Services

Preferable

Experience in Fuel Dispenser domain
