Sr. Engineer 5G Layer-1 Development

Role Summary

Be part of Mavenir’s vRAN team and work with the L1 team doing design, simulation, development, integration, test and delivery. We are looking for an experienced L1 Engineer with hands on knowledge of implementing LTE/LTE-A feature

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new features in 4G/5G Layer1 in SW
• Maintenance and support of existing features for Field and Lab issues
• Develop and maintain unit test cases for Layer1 code base in Host environment
• Resolution of field issues.
• New feature additions.
• Module/sub-system level responsibility.

Job Requirements

• Must have worked on at least one OFDM based commercial wireless technology Layer-1 Development (e.g. WiMAX, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, LTE, 5G).
• Excellent working knowledge of 4G/5G Layer-1 and 3GPP spec.
• Hand-on expertise on the 4G/5G Layer-1 development on a GPP or DSP.
• Good understanding of the communication signal processing algorithms.
• Hands-on expertise on field deployment issues resolution.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Exp. 5+ years.
