Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India (MBRDI), headquartered in Bengaluru with a satellite office in Pune, is the largest R&D center for Mercedes-Benz Group AG outside of Germany. We are looking for an experienced Java Architect or Technical Lead with strong expertise in Spring Boot and related technologies to join our agile team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building, deploying, and maintaining enterprise-grade applications, with exposure to modern DevOps practices and cloud-native environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java applications using Spring Boot and related frameworks.
• Write clean, testable, and efficient code with JUnit and best practices.
• Build and manage dependencies using Maven.
• Integrate CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins for automated builds, testing, and deployment.
• Containerize and deploy applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams following Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Document technical solutions and maintain project knowledge using Confluence.
• Track and manage tasks and progress using Jira.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10 to 14  years of professional experience in Java development.
• Strong knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring Framework, REST APIs, and Microservices.
• Hands-on experience with JUnit (unit testing and integration testing).
• Proficiency with Maven for building and dependency management.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or Github actions.
• Solid understanding of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Agile project management tools (Jira, Confluence).
• Strong problem-solving skills, ownership mindset, and ability to work in a collaborative team.

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
