Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible to provides strategic leadership in designing, architecting, and governing enterprise‑grade data platforms powered by SQL and advanced ETL frameworks. This role drives data modernization initiatives, sets technology direction, and ensures the delivery of scalable, secure, and high‑performance data solutions. To Coordinate with senior stakeholders, oversees complex implementations, and mentor’s teams to elevate engineering standards across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise data architecture, integration strategy, and long‑term data modernization roadmaps.

• Architect scalable, resilient database solutions and ETL frameworks capable of handling large, complex workloads.

• Evaluate emerging data technologies and recommend adoption to enhance platform efficiency and scalability.

• Establish enterprise‑wide standards for SQL development, ETL design, data governance, and security practices.

• Provide deep expertise in performance tuning, workload optimization, indexing strategy, and query execution patterns.

• Lead the design of high‑volume data pipelines, orchestration layers, and reusable ETL components.

• Oversee database capacity planning, monitoring, automation, and disaster‑recovery architecture.

• Guide large‑scale migrations, cloud modernizations, and integration of new data sources.

• Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, influencing decisions through deep data and architectural insights.

• Review and validate complex technical designs produced by cross‑functional teams.

• Mentor consultants, senior engineers, and developers to build advanced SQL and ETL competencies.

• Drive resolution of critical production issues, leading RCA efforts and long‑term remediation plans.

• Ensure alignment of data solutions with organizational goals, compliance standards, and industry best practices.

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications / Skills

• BE/B Tech/MCA or equivalent degree.

• Strong experience in SQL & Relational Database.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

• Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

• Strong SQL programming (joins, subqueries, window functions, CTEs, views).

• Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• well versed with SSRS development.

• ETL development using tools such as SSIS, Informatica, Talend, ADF, or similar.

• Creation and optimization of stored procedures, triggers, and functions.

• Knowledge of database design, normalization, and ER modeling.

• Basic understanding of data warehousing concepts (fact tables, dimensions).

• Experience with query tuning and indexing fundamentals.

• Version control (Git) and basic CI/CD exposure for data workflows.
