Your role and responsibilities

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Test and Automation Engineer to join our team. The role involves ensuring continuous delivery of high-quality products to stakeholders by designing, executing, and maintaining automated test environments. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Work as a Test and Automation Engineer to ensure continuous delivery of the product.
• Create and update test environments and code, execute automated test scenarios.
• Collaborate with development and system test teams to ensure product quality, usability, and serviceability.
• Apply continuous delivery and test practices using open-source DevOps tools and solutions.
• Verify product functions/components to ensure they meet design specifications.
• Handle testing and debugging tasks independently.
• Contribute as a strong team player with effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Required technical and professional expertise

• Experience with Cloud and System architecture, Linux/Unix, Virtualization, and Firmware testing.
• Hands-on experience in Cloud or Virtualization domains.
• Proficiency in automation languages and tools such as Python, JavaScript, and Cypress Automation.
• Experience administering Linux/UNIX systems and working with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Sonar, JFrog).
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
• Familiarity with Agile Software Development methodologies.
• Ability to work under schedule pressure and meet deadlines.
• Experience in creating test plans, developing test cases from requirements/design documents, and generating reports.
• Understanding of the software development life cycle.

Preferred technical and professional experience

• Experience with tools such as Cypress, Jenkins, Git/GitHub, or equivalent.
• 5 to 7 years of relevant industry experience.
