We are not an average retailer and this is definitely not your average payroll position reporting in through Amazon Finance Operations. We’re looking for exceptional people with outstanding auditing skills, problem solving skills, payroll process combined with payroll system knowledge, and customer service passion.
Amazon US Payroll seeks a Payroll Manager with at least 8+ years of experience in customer-oriented corporate environment. Payroll is processed on a weekly and monthly basis, and this person will perform a variety of technical tasks relative to the assigned areas of responsibility including data compilation and support of the Payroll Team.
Key job responsibilities
-2 Plus years of Payroll Manager Experience and Leading a team of 5+ payroll analysts
-Set the vision, direction, and culture of the team
-Ensures employees growth & development, set priority, drive motivation & engagement for employees.
-Monitoring real time service levels and schedule adherence, and holding the team accountable responsible for meeting and exceeding. Performance targets for the team.
-Ensure compliance and controllership risks are 100% mitigated.
-Identify the training needs and work with site trainer for people development.
-Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Amazon.com’s policies and procedures.
-Manage workflow, handle escalations, proactively engage resources to address issues and effectively delegate workload across the leadership team.
We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:
Hyderabad, TS, IND
- 2+ years of team management experience
- Experience using data to influence business decisions
- Knowledge of Six Sigma defect reduction techniques (Lean, etc.)
- Experience of Oracle/Oracle Payables/Oracle Receivables
- Experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable or procurement
