We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist.

In this role, you will:

• Target the 24/7 availability of critical Tier 0 services. Working with technical teams to ensure that root cause of incident is found as a priority and that actions are documented, assigned and tracked to avoid reoccurrence.
• End to end service ownership, technical, functional and operational knowledge of the service and its components
• Providing support to the production services. (e.g. Incident/problem/batch/change management, system DR & roleswap)
• Providing technical support to the IT service owner, with your functional and operational knowledge of linux based services and components
•  Monitoring the health of production systems and recovering the systems as quickly as possible when incidents occur
• Identifying and implementing opportunities to improve monitoring and event management. Analysing and troubleshooting all kind of Production system issues
• Participate in system releases, scheduled and ad-hoc product maintenance releases (OS and middleware), systems updates and post-release incident management and reporting
• Communicating with business users and production support managers to report system status. Documenting support procedures and system knowledge for knowledge management in a global scale.
