The Signify Design Team isa diverse team with a global footprint and wide-ranging areasof expertise. Its responsibilities include supporting a variety of business groups, advocating design practices, leading change, sparking collaboration, understanding users, building competence, and elevating the standards for design in our industry. We work closely with product managers, engineers, and researchers to delivercohesive digital services and products. A love for people, design and an eye for detail is in our DNA.
You will work closely with our internal partners to translate customer, business, and technology demands into innovative digital offerings that set the standard for the lighting industry.In addition to organizing the local team, you will be hands-on conductinguser research, exploration, ideation, and craftingdetailed UX/UI designs. Your challenge is to build a strong UX competence in Bangalorethat is closely integrated with aglobal UX teamadhering toSignify’s high quality standards and methods. Our UX designers are embedded into product teamswhere they work fluently with Signify contributors, stakeholders, and engineersin India, Europe, and the US.
What you’lldo
Lead, coach, and manageprojects fora local team of designers contributing acrossprofessional business segments
Design the UX/UI for global, industry-leading applications on native- and web-based platforms
Collaborate and build relationships with key stakeholders in the Designorganization and beyond
Represent and deploy our user-centric design practices within product teams across the company
Partner with business and R&Dfunctions to refine methods and ensure design quality at all stages of the development process
What you’ll need
Relevant experience in the management of designers with mixed competencies
Advanced-leveluse of Figma and Agile development tools and methods
Up-to-date knowledge of the latest web and mobile design trends, frameworks, and best practices
An active attitude in discussing and setting trends and opinion in your field of work: you are a thought leader, or about to become one
