Responsible for providing day-to-day technical support through prioritizing, documenting, and actively responding & resolving end-user technical incidents/problems; installing & configuring new computer systems, PCs/ laptops; installing, upgrading & fixing office applications, operating systems & antivirus and executing regular maintenance.
Roles & Responsibilities IT Activities
• Plan, organize and schedule the day-to-day technical support activities, which encompasses all troubleshooting, maintenance, installations and upgrading of computer operating systems and software.
• Install, upgrade, and fix office applications, operating systems and anti-virus software and ensure all computer peripherals are working properly; conduct file backups and configure systems and applications. (Such as: SAP, EFI and ESKO)
• Install new hardware including printers, laptops, LCDs, and any other peripheral equipment in addition to replacing obsolete hardware.
• Set up and configure user accounts, assign user responsibilities (e.g., Power User, Normal Users) and setup security levels for employees based on their position and/or business requirements (as per IT policy).
• Perform regular maintenance and timely updates of all computer systems (SAP, EFI and ESKO), PCs/ laptops, printers, and other related hardware in accordance with maintenance schedule to ensure business continuity and minimize system interruptions.
• Respond to End Users incoming calls and emails requesting technical support assistance and take necessary actions to resolve issues in a timely manner through utilizing diagnostic software to identify and track technical issues. • Maintain records of all daily incidents, problems, remedial actions, and their status and report the same to the direct manager when required.
• Maintain records of all hardware and software assigned to employees, track hardware inventory and stocks and ensure timely receipt of all IT supplies as per purchase orders.
• Maintain records of all IT vendors providing technical support services & supplies to our company and establish long-term working relationships with them to ensure solving any issues in a timely and efficient manner
Requirements• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
• Minimum of (2 – 4) years of experience in the same or related field.
• Proactive approach with good Analytical Ability.
• Good Command in English (spoken and written), Arabic would be an advantage.
