Job Description and Requirements
Roles and Responsibilities:
The main role of the
Digital Design teacher is based on implementing and teaching MYP students according to the International Baccalaureate curriculum. The following bullets briefly explain main duties and responsibilities of the job that is not limited to:
Creating appropriate learning engagements and creating challenging and engaging learning opportunities for all students. Motivating students to perform at their best through differentiated instructions and using varieties of styles. Collaborating with other teachers to contribute students’ success. Contributing to the enrichment of learning engagements. Monitoring students’ performance to enhance their understanding and master skills. Monitoring students’ progress through effective assessment. Communicating regularly and constructively with students and parents. Using teaching methods engaging students, stimulating intellectual curiosity including the use of effective questioning, presentation and resources. Setting high expectations for student’s behavior, establishing and maintaining a good standard of behavior management through well focused teaching and through positive and productive relationships. Any other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computer Information System, Computer Engineering. 2-4 years of experience in Teaching, MYP program is preferable. Skills & knowledge in Adobe Flash, Adobe Dream Weaver, Adobe illustrator , Scratch, Adobe Photoshop, MIT App inventor. Presentation skills and ability to speak in public in confidence. Excellent communication skills in English is essential. Excellent planning, coordinating, organizing and analyzing abilities are essential. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with teachers at all levels in a multicultural environment.
