Front End Developer

Job Description and Responsibilities:

The role will include coding signed off designs into working web pages in HTML5, CSS and JavaScript and then integrating with products backends. The role will include some communication with product managers and developers in order to keep them informed of progress as well as handling feedback and support. The role will also necessitate providing estimates for tasks and timescales.

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

• A relevant university degree
• (1-2 years) of relevant experience
• Knowledge of HTML5, CSS and JavaScript
• Experience with Git version control
• A passion for the web and an eagerness to learn
• Interaction design understanding, with a passion for usability and accessibility
• Superb written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• An ability to work autonomously and manage your workload and deadlines effectively
• Ability to output clean, commented, and team-friendly code
• A readiness to embrace and use new approaches and to keep up-to-date with industry advances

Additions to Have:

• Experience with Laravel & Knowledge of PHP
• Experience with Vue.js
• UI design experience
• Familiarity with CSS pre-processors such as Sass and/or PostCSS
• Obsession for building lightning fast sites
