Accountant

We are currently seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team in Kuwait. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting roles, preferably in the private sector. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing all financial transactions, analyzing financial data, and preparing financial reports. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with local accounting regulations and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage all financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
2. Analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
3. Ensure compliance with local accounting regulations and maintain accurate records.
4. Prepare and review budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analyses.
5. Assist with the preparation of tax returns and ensure timely and accurate filing.
6. Monitor and reconcile bank statements and cash accounts.
7. Assist with the preparation of audit schedules and support audit processes.
8. Provide financial analysis and support to management for decision-making purposes.
9. Assist with the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
10. Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Preferred Candidate:

1. Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting roles, preferably in the private sector.
2. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
3. Strong knowledge of local accounting regulations and standards.
4. Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Attention to detail and accuracy.
7. Strong organizational and time management skills.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
