SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER – KUWAIT!

Really good opportunity to join this very exciting, new concept being launched in Kuwait – already have first 2 stores signed off with many more to follow!

We are urgently looking for a Supply Chain Manager, currently based in Kuwait and with a transferable visa.

Education, Experience & Skills Required:

• Engineering or Supply Chain / Procurement / Commercial related qualifications preferred but technical degrees with further tertiary studies of supply chain / procurement will also be considered.
• At least 2 years SCM related experience.
• Strong commercial understanding and experience in driving down cost and identifying cost saving opportunities, with a track record of delivering total cost savings
• Analytical, numerate, able to develop models and solve problems.
• Holds excellent negotiating skills and experience.
• Demonstrates good communication, persuasion and change management skills
• Good facilitation and presentation skills
• Experience in strategic sourcing and purchase category management, including understanding supplier or product cost drivers and other factors that influence pricing.
• Experience in managing food and packaging categories would be preferable.
• Ideally has experience in formal project management

Salary Package Offered: KD1000 pm but negotiable for the right individual
