Responsibilities
- Lead the tendering process for projects, including reviewing tender documents, analyzing project requirements, and identifying bid opportunities.
- Coordinate with internal teams, including project management, engineering, business development and finance, to gather relevant information and develop bid strategies.
- Prepare tender submissions, including technical proposals, commercial bids, and supporting documentation, ensuring compliance with client requirements and specifications.
- Manage the bid lifecycle, from initial bid/no-bid decision to contract award, ensuring adherence to deadlines and quality standards.
- Lead bid review meetings to assess bid strategies, pricing, and risk mitigation measures.
- Collaborate with legal and contract management teams to review and negotiate contract terms and conditions.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to enhance the company's reputation and secure new business opportunities.
- Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and client presentations to gather information and promote the company's capabilities and expertise.
- Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and clarifications during the tendering process.
- Supervise and mentor a team of tendering professionals, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members, monitor progress, and ensure deadlines are met.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the tendering team, promoting innovation and continuous improvement.
