Internship Opportunities

We have new programs/expansion across our Greater MENA programs and are currently offering Internships for graduates of Nutrition, Psychology, Pharmacy and Physiotherapy.  Our internship programs are 6 months in duration where you will be trained and skilled in all areas of Patient & Program Support. You will liaise with hospitals, pharmacies, patients and our distributors. Following the successful Internship training there may be permanent full time opportunities available.  We require very focussed individuals who seek a challenging career within Healthcare.   This role will offer a unique opportunity to work outside of Lebanon and across our Greater MENA regions, supporting our Program Leaders and Managers supporting our Patient Support Programs.

Duties and Responsibilities  

• Liaise with hospitals, distributors, pharmacies and patients.   
• Co-payment reimburse solution administration.   

• Work closely with the relevant Program Manager to secure patient file approval.  
• Ensure that patient file are complete and ready to be submitted in a timely manner and in accordance with the project processes, workflow and timeline.  
• Carry out patient, Doctor, Pharmacy and private sector visits for project flow.  
• Ensure that current patients receive their treatments/ medications quickly and efficiently   
• Prepare timely monitoring reports (monthly) with patient numbers and charities support as well as quality assurance. Reports (quarterly) for internal review. This includes monitoring and tracking patient files in collaboration with Axios staff in “real time” as patients proceed through the program.  

• Maintain and update electronic Program files, including patient and quality assurance data.  
• Conduct administrative duties for the office.  

Relationships  

• Work closely with Program Manager and Program Assistant in the region. 

• Reporting to the Program Manager in region 
• Work with the related divisions of Axios  
• Maintain ongoing and frequent communication with Axios staff including Axios global staff.

Educational Background and Experience  

• Medical Education background - Nutritionist, Pharmacist, Physiotherapist or Psychologist or similar
• 1-2 years working within the Hospital/ Healthcare Industry is essential
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Arabic  

• Experience in data monitoring and management  
• Experience in customer service management  

Job Circumstances  

• Frequent travel will be required within the region 

• Flexibility in working hours is essential
