Company Overview: Ingram Micro North Africa is a leading technology distributor in Morocco and French Speaking Africa.


Our Physical Security Business Unit specializes in providing cutting-edge solutions to our clients in the field of physical security, surveillance, and technology.


We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our team and drive growth in the physical security and CCTV segment.


Responsibilities:


  • Business Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities within the physical security and CCTV market. Build and maintain strong relationships with our technology vendors, consultants, existing clients and potential customers.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets. Collaborate with the sales team to create comprehensive solutions for clients.
  • Product Knowledge: Possess in-depth knowledge of physical security products, including CCTV cameras, Video Management Systems (VMS), access control systems, and related technologies.
  • Vendor Relationships: Leverage existing relationships with vendors such as Axis Communications and Milestone to promote their products and solutions.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including technical experts, product managers, and sales representatives, to deliver complete solutions to customers.
  • Customer Engagement: Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and workshops for clients. Understand their needs and tailor solutions accordingly.
  • Reporting: Provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s Degree: A degree in computer science, business, marketing, or a related field is required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within the physical security industry.
  • Product Knowledge: Familiarity with physical security brands, especially Axis Communications and Milestone, is highly desirable.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in English is essential.
  • Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Results-Driven: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Additional Information:


  • Experience with other physical security brands (e.g., Bosch, Honeywell, Genetec, Motorola, Hikvision, Dahua) is a plus.
  • Travel within Morocco may be required.
