Junior Reconciliation analyst Ref. 005358

Tasks :

• Conduct regular reconciliations of financial operations
• Analyze discrepancies between financial records and investigate root causes, document findings and communicate with relevant stakeholders to resolve discrepancies promptly
• Work closely with finance, and operations teams to gather information, resolve discrepancies, and implement corrective actions
• Maintain accurate documentation of reconciliation activities, findings, and resolutions.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
• Write and execute reconciliation scripts
• Run manual and automated operations

Requirements :

• Degree in Software Engineering (Bachelor's / Master’s degree), fresh out / up to 2 years of experience
• Experience in financial analysis, accounting, or reconciliation role
• Understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Development/scripting skills in Python around following libraries: Data Analysis and processing with Pandas – NumPy, Scrapping with Requests, Mailing with SMTP, and Data Integration with sqlalchemy
• Database SQL (PostgreSQL or MySQL) knowledge is a must
• Fluent English is a must
• Fluent French is preferable
• Autonomous, rigorous, and pragmatic
• Team-worker within cross-cultural environments
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to liaise with a variety of stakeholders
