About this opportunity:

 This internship program focuses on exploring and utilizing Network Exposure APIs, including but not limited to those defined by the CAMARA initiative, to build proof-of-concept applications. You will work on understanding how to securely and efficiently leverage network capabilities such as location, quality of service, device status, and more, to create innovative and valuable application features. This internship is intended for students currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related field. It is particularly suitable for candidates who are curious, eager to learn, and interested in the intersection of mobile applications and advanced network capabilities.

What you will do:

• Develop a solid understanding of Network Exposure concepts and the potential of CAMARA APIs
• Learn how to interact with and consume RESTful APIs in a structured and professional way
• Build practical software development skills using one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript), depending on project needs
• Contribute to the design, development, testing, and documentation of application prototypes
• Work collaboratively with a team of experienced professionals in a supportive environment
• Explore security and privacy considerations related to Network Exposure and API-based services
• Potentially present your work and findings to relevant stakeholders

The skills you bring:

• Strong foundational understanding of computer science principles
• Familiarity with at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, C++)
• Basic understanding of web technologies (e.g., HTTP, REST APIs)
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and teamwork capabilities
• Proactive, self-driven, and willing to learn independently
• Exposure to or understanding of telecommunications concepts (e.g., mobile networks, 5G)
• Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Insomnia)
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker)
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Understanding of security concepts in application development
