As the Section head - Radio optimization 4G/5G you will be responsible of assuring the best customer experience on Ooredoo data and voice services for HBB and mobile. Through:
Monitoring the main KPIs for network, service quality KPIs and Optimizing radio RF parameters according to best practices on all technologies 2G/3G/4G TDD&FDD and 5G. Main contributor for company score card (Tutela crowdsourcing benchmark). Enhancing network capacity utilization by network resource optimization. Solution enabler for Ooredoo sales and business units. Resolving customers trouble ticket (TTs) as third level support for HBB and Mobile. Evaluate and rolling-out latest and advanced vendor RF features. Evaluate CPEs and Handsets performance.

Core Responsibilites



You will be responsible of the following:
Leading 5G/4G team towards enhancing customer experience of HBB and mobile network. Setting the team strategy for achieving network KPIs and Scorecard. Determine and define clear deliverables, roles, and responsibilities for team members. Manage operational process and oversee the daily technical tasks. Develop team technical competencies in 5G and 4G by setting the training plan and on job training. Ensuring team respond to customer trouble tickets (TTs) within the agreed SLA. Approving team changes on network features and parameters tuning before rolling out. Approving site acceptance and handover from vendor to Ooredoo. Encourage team members for implementing cost saving initiatives. Monitor Radio network KPIs and guide the team towards achieving Ooredoo Score card Monitor closely radio network capacity and optimize radio network resources in cost efficient solution Define worst performing cell criteria. Work closely with SOC department for defining application and service level KPIs. Achieving Tutela and crowdsourcing company score card and work closely with the team to enhance customers data throughput. Working towards placing Ooredoo on the lead in network drive test benchmark against competitors. Implementing and rolling out best radio parameters and features practices according to business need. Define team TTs responsibilities. Assuring team response to TTs within SLA. Manage and oversee TTs process between customer care, NOC and service optimization, and work with all stakeholders to improve TTs workflow. Adopt proactive measures to reduce customers complains load on customer care, by improving network performance, CPE performance or processes Expected to be flexible and participate with special project as assigned by management

The Person



You should have a minimum of 8 Years of Experience in telecom industry, subject matter experience in 3G/4G/5G air interface, strong leadership skills, good background in mobile technologies and related topologies and interfaces (core and transmission), a strong understanding of mobile industry trends and services with a bachelor’s degree in telecommunication engineering.

Skills Required



Sound knowledge in RF air interface 3G/4G/5G Sound knowledge in generating radio network KPIs Sound knowledge in analyzing air interface and network probes traces to identify the root cause of drop and block calls and radio failures Sound knowledge in RAN hardware components and understanding the capabilities of each component. Sound knowledge in traffic balancing and traffic shifting between technologies. Sound knowledge in Volte call analysis and optimization. Sound knowledge in capacity analysis and maximizing hardware capacity by soft parameters. Demonstrates flexibility and creativity to adopt processes to meet changing business needs Ability to look at things through a wide lens, and a strong initiative to take the lead in removing roadblocks Teamwork & Co-operation Demonstrate positive attitude and high level of energy Ability to think creatively and solve problems Excellent interpersonal, analytical, written, and verbal communication, and presentation skills Organizational Commitment Knowledge of latest technologies and trends in Telecommunications industry Communicating effectively Problem Solving Customer Focus Results Oriented Team lead
