As an Application Developer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring applications that align with business processes and meet specific application requirements. This role requires close collaboration with various stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into functional software solutions. The workday often includes analyzing existing systems, developing new features, and ensuring that applications operate efficiently and effectively within the organizational environment. Continuous refinement and adaptation of applications to evolving business demands are also key aspects of the daily routine.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze application requirements.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving application issues to maintain optimal performance.
- Document application designs, configurations, and updates to support knowledge sharing.
- Support junior team members by providing guidance and sharing best practices.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Teradata BI.
- Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts and business intelligence tools.
- Experience in designing and developing scalable and maintainable applications.
- Ability to optimize queries and improve application performance within Teradata environments.
- Familiarity with data integration and ETL processes to support business intelligence solutions.
- Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Teradata BI.
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
