Thermo Fisher’s Chromatography and Mass Spectroscopy Division (CMD) is a global leader in scientific instruments, automation, software and accessories serving research, engineering, analytical and industrial applications.CMD develops, manufactures, and services advanced analytical instrumentation and data management software for key laboratory applications like scientific research, drug discovery and development, pharmaceutical quality control, food safety testing, environmental testing, climate research, and industrial process optimization. Our product portfolio includes mass spectrometry (life sciences and inorganic), elemental, chromatography (GC, IC and HPLC/UHPLC), informatics and laboratory automation.


Role & Responsibilities 


Purpose: - Candidate can handle Installation and servicing of the Analytical instruments of HPLC and IC products of Thermofisher make.


Responsibilities:


The incumbent will be responsible for the identified list of customer and will be accountable & responsible for the end to end requirement of the maintaining the customer instruments and CAS-Mainly HPLC, IC. Attend all Breakdown calls and closure within the assigned service parameters of response time by proper allocation of time to achieve customer satisfaction.


Have complete ownership of the service delivery process for the assigned customer base. Providing timely Preventive maintenance to the assigned set of customers. (primary and Secondary) by keeping the data of P.M for assigned customer base to justify AMC charges Achievement of financial objectives as assigned and completion of the cycle of order process.


Achieve the assigned spares and Service revenue targets. Keeping track of ensuring payment collections for the transactions done for the assigned customer base. Timely reporting of all service reports, weekly reports, expense statements and any other data which is asked from time to time through SFDC and emails to ensure communication flow. Follow guidelines on attendance, leaves, mobile policies, travel policies, and other policies to achieve proper discipline of operations


Education:


Required: Bachelor’s degree in any electronic engineering, or related field or equivalent work experience and knowledge.


Experience:


Minimum of 4+ years of meaningful experience in a related engineering and/or customer facing role.


Required Qualifications:


Uses effective questioning to identify customer needs.


Exercises judgment setting work priorities and identifies next steps.


Participates as a positive influence for the team.


Quickly adapts to change with positive and constructive feedback.


Working Conditions:


Frequent and travel on short notice to customer site is required and ranges from 50% of work time.


Works both remotely at home and in a laboratory environment.


May be required to stand for long periods of time while performing duties.


Works safely with chemicals and hazardous materials.


Able to work additional hours and flexible shifts. Stretchable for working hours.
