Machine Operator (05)

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure seamless production procedures to maximize operational efficiency.
• Meet production targets with minimal operational costs, adhering to Plant Operational requirements.
• Operate, set up, and maintain machines for precise and efficient production in line with quality standards.
• Supervise section labor to achieve maximum productivity during production.
• Align machine components accurately for smooth packaging operations.
• Perform Level 1 activities of Autonomous maintenance, including cleaning, inspection, and lubrication.
• Conduct machine setups, calibration, and cleaning for production cycles.
• Control and adjust machine functions and settings, such as speed, based on product specifications.
• Load raw materials into semi-automated machines.
• Test machine operations periodically and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
• Verify manufacturing/expiry dates and batch numbers on packets and maintain activity logs.
• Keep records of approved and defective units or final products.
• Troubleshoot machine issues, including jams and malfunctions, and take corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, Hygiene SOPs, FSMS Standards, and PFA Regulations.
• Adhere to minimum HSE requirements and comply with all HSE procedures.
• Inspect production according to Quality Protocols, perform required tests as per SOP, and maintain detailed records.
• Maintain a safe work environment by following health, safety, and environmental procedures.

Qualifications and Experience:

• At least DAE/B.Tech
• 3-5 Years of relevant Experience (VERTICAL FORM FILL (VFF), MESPACK MACHINE, VENTO, LANGEN, AND GMP HANDS-ON EXPERIENCE)

Skills:

• Knowledge of using motorized/VFF machines
• Knowledge of basic mathematical principles and use of mechanical tools
• Basic Maintenance Skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Communication Skills
