Mechanics (04)

Job Purpose: To conduct servicing, corrective and preventative maintenance of equipment and machinery as per established Standard Operations Procedures (SOPs), Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ), and industry regulations, ensuring that all equipment and apparatus remain operational to support the production operations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Implement planned maintenance to keep machines running smoothly and prevent issues.
• Maintain and fix equipment following established guidelines.
• Ensure machines are correctly set up for efficient production.
• Regularly inspect machines, report and address any problems promptly.
• Resolve technical issues on production lines, adhering to procedures.
• Conduct mechanical repairs and modifications using proper tools.
• Develop and execute maintenance plans to prevent equipment breakdowns.
• Optimize machine efficiency by making necessary adjustments.
• Keep tools and equipment clean and in good working condition.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities in compliance with safety guidelines, according to auditing of the Company for HSE/ISO/OHSAS/FSSC/BRC Systems.
• Monitor vendor performance for quality work.
• Identify opportunities for system improvement and suggest enhancements.
• Strictly adhere to safety protocols and report potential hazards.
• Stay informed about the latest developments in maintenance practices.

Qualifications and Experience:

• DAE / B.Tech in relevant discipline with 3-5 years of experience

Skills:

• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Sound knowledge of fabrication, repair and installation work.
• Mechanical drawings, layout and sketches
• Accuracy and attention to work
• Ability to work in day/night shifts
