About the job Salesforce Administrator

Job Description:


The Business Application Specialist must have extensive Salesforce Platform skills and experience to help lead and improve the ATSG Salesforce Platforms. You will make strategic decisions on the future state of the platform, as well as lead large Platform wide projects on all facets of the Salesforce application, from Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, App Partners and more.


Responsibilities:


  • Hands-on business applications management including configuration, maintenance, and documentation of multiple information systems, as well as their continuous improvement.
  • Plan and lead projects to consolidate Salesforce instances of acquired companies into the ATSG instance.
  • Drive efficiency and improve client experience through the use of AI.
  • Create and maintain system configuration and as-built documentation.
  • Manage user accounts, roles/profiles, and permissions for supported applications. Troubleshoot automation and triggers.
  • Providing responsive user support by addressing queries and assisting users in navigating application-related matters.
  • Ensuring users are equipped to utilize applications effectively, by providing required knowledge products and occasional training sessions.
  • Collaborating with various teams to upgrade applications, aligning them with heightened security and efficiency standards.
  • Plan and execute application enhancements to accommodate business expansion while ensuring optimal performance with zero impact to the business process flows.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day functionality of our business applications, addressing any operational issues promptly.
  • Provide strategic direction for the Salesforce system and work with various stakeholders to establish and implement best practices with regards to system configuration, unit testing, maintenance, security and access controls, and data integrity.
  • Coordinate testing and manage deployment of software updates utilizing Azure DevOps CI/CD.
  • Utilize leadership skills in mentoring other Salesforce Administrators.
  • Work in partnership with key business users, identify potential ways of improving the efficiency and/or effectiveness of current business operations.
  • Build a deep technical understanding and expertise of how business operates departmental/divisional structure, functions, processes, procedures and current application functionality.
  • Assist with the design of Salesforce solutions and project planning. Add value in all stages of project work (definition, development, deployment)

Qualifications:


  • Strong background in Salesforce Sales and Service modules.
  • Salesforce Certifications highly desired.
  • Required 6+ Years of experienced Salesforce Business Analyst / Administrator with excellent communication skills.
  • Deployment planning. Understanding of Automated Deployment tools [MNT1] [LJ2] Azure DevOps system is highly preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Data Science.
  • Should have a thorough understanding of configuration of Salesforce.com (flows, validation rules, approval process, custom formulas, page layout, and record types).
  • Thorough knowledge of delivering projects in an agile scrum environment.
  • Able to provide leadership, participate and be a productive member of the team. Must be able to manage time with multitasking.
  • Demonstrated data and analytics expertise.
  • Knowledge of data transformation for use in report software, spreadsheets, graphs, and flow charts.
  • Understanding of functional testing strategies and tooling.
  • Identify areas of improvement; determine solutions; implement enhancements / changes to improve operations, standards and results.
  • Strong verbal / written communication, active listening skills, and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams.
  • Able to work independently and in a team environment, with consideration to others and their needs.
