Job Summary
As a Scrum Master with UAE working experience, you will play a crucial role in facilitating and coaching Agile practices within our organization. Reporting to the PMO Director, you will be responsible for fostering collaboration, ensuring the effective functioning of Agile ceremonies, and driving continuous improvement within cross-functional teams.
The ideal candidate should have excellent communication & people skills, plus a proven track record of successfully implementing and sustaining Agile methodologies within Large Organizations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Agile Facilitation- Lead and facilitate Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Ensure that the Scrum team adheres to Agile principles and practices.
- Work closely with product owners to prioritize and refine the product backlog.
2. Team Empowerment- Coach and mentor team members on Agile principles and practices.
- Foster a collaborative and self-organizing team culture.
- Identify and resolve impediments to the team's progress.
3. Collaboration and Communication- Facilitate communication between team members, stakeholders, and other departments.
- Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Promote transparency and visibility of work progress.
4. Continuous Improvement- Drive continuous improvement by identifying areas for enhancement and implementing changes.
- Encourage a culture of innovation and experimentation within the team.
- Collaborate with other Scrum Masters and Agile Coaches to share best practices.
5. Metrics and Reporting- Define and track key Agile metrics to measure team performance and project progress.
- Provide regular reports on team velocity, release planning, and other relevant metrics.
6. Risk Management- Identify, document and mitigate risks related to project delivery.
- Proactively communicate, address issues and dependencies that may impact project timelines.
7. Stakeholder Management- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Ensure that stakeholders are informed and involved in the Agile process.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in an IT relevant field.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master in UAE.
- Proven experience in successfully implementing Agile methodologies.
- Experience in working with Microsoft Azure DevOps.
- Excellent understanding of Agile frameworks, such as Scrum and Kanban.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and diverse environment.
