We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Control Manager, Ops Delivery and Group Transactions.


Principal Responsibilities:


  • Support the implementation of the target operating model/ strategic plans for the CCO Global Operations, DCOO and Procurement


  • Support GTI in proactively managing their risks and control standards by aligning with Group expectations including stakeholders from ERM and Audit as well as 1LOD.


  • Drive the design and implementation of the CCO people strategy and career development framework


  • Drive and execute a communications strategy for the CCO Global Operations, DCOO and Procurement sub-function to ensure that its members are motivated, well informed and aligned to Global and regional initiatives.


  • Partner with Risk Stewards , DBS Governance teams and wider CCO teams and supported Risk and Control owners to develop and implement proper ERM framework and policies.


  • Coordinate and provide support for cross Business Service/Regional Reviews and Read Acrosses


  • Drive effective design, analysis and remediation of operational controls by analysing root causes of incidents, identifying thematic and systemic issues.


  • Coordinate Governance processes for reporting to key stakeholders meetings


  • Build effective relationships with key stakeholders across CCO, supported functions and 2LOD and leverage these relationships to:


  • Enable the CCO Operations, DCOO and Procurement to work most effectively with internal and external stakeholders and fulfil its commitments


  • Ensure all customers and stakeholders receive an appropriate level of service by understanding and reacting to feedback
