Job description
Responsibilities:
1. Drive Software Entitlement management, focusing on optimizing entitlement and usage organization wide.
2. Manage licenses for key vendors (Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, SAP), ensuring compliance and cost-effectiveness.
3. Utilize Flexera for tracking, monitoring, and reporting on license entitlement, usage, and compliance.
4. Collaborate cross-functionally to develop strategies for optimizing license usage and reducing costs.
5. Ensure adherence to licensing agreements, conducting regular audits to address compliance issues.
6. Develop strong relationships with global suppliers, negotiating terms and resolving issues.
7. Provide guidance on licensing policies and procedures to internal teams.
8. Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, Business Administration, or related field.
2. Minimum 3- 5 years’ experience in Software Entitlement management, emphasizing on Tier 1 vendors
3. Proficiency in Flexera for license management.
4. Strong understanding of software contracts, licensing, and compliance.
5. Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
6. Attention to detail and analytical skills for auditing.
7. Experience in managing global software supplier relationships preferred.
8. Experience in IT audits related to software licenses is advantageous.
