Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a WordPress Back-End Developer. Our timings are from 04:00 p.m. to 01:00 a.m. in order to cater to our clients.

Responsibilities:

·Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins, ensuring responsiveness and optimal performance.

·Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements using server-side logic.

·Customize and extend existing WordPress functionality to meet project requirements.

·Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code while adhering to industry best practices.

·Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize WordPress websites to ensure optimal performance.

·Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies to enhance development processes.

·Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

·Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge with the team.

·Implement security best practices to protect websites from potential vulnerabilities.

·Provide technical support and address issues related to WordPress backend development.

Requirements

·Proven experience as a WordPress Backend Developer or similar role.

·Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, and JavaScript.

·Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development.

·Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery).

·Solid understanding of web development best practices, performance optimization, and security principles.

·Experience with version control systems, such as Git.

·Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

·Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

·Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.

·Experience with headless WordPress development.

·Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.

·Previous experience with e-commerce platforms and integrations.
