Purpose
Perform all activities necessary for AUT girth weld inspection.
Functions
·Follow up directives given by the AUT Operator/ Supervisor.
·Adjustments to ultrasonic scanner head as instructed by AUT Operators to ensure recognized standards are met
·Have clear communication with the AUT operator during inspection
·Mark defect repair areas at the discretion of the AUT operator
·Maintain the NDT equipment and report the breakdown of part/s items to the supervisor
·Assist in making AUT set-ups for qualification and validation activities
·Update the AUT operator on the status of the preparations, execution, problems foreseen or encountered, and improvements for current or upcoming projects.

Ensure that safety policies and procedures are understood and adhered so far as is reasonably practicable in order to ensure a safe working environment.
Other
Carry out work in accordance with the Company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Systems.
Perform the assigned tasks with due diligence regarding the Integrated Management Systems on the Company.
Eliminate waste of whatever form, to suggest the use of more environmentally friendly substances and practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the environment

PCN/ CSWIP/ ASNT - MT – Level 2 – Magnetic Particle Testing (P)
PCN/ CSWIP/ ASNT - PT – Level 2 – Dye/ Liquid Penetrant Testing (P)
Third Party ASNT certificate holders will be required to undergo Oceaneering Certification, and successful completion is a mandatory requirement to acquire this position.

Education and/or Experience
Min 5 years solid experience in Pipeline Inspection in Oil and Gas Industry
