Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare cost estimates for engineering and construction projects.
  
• Review drawings, specifications, BOQ, and tender documents.
  
• Calculate material, manpower, equipment, and subcontracting costs.
  
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for quotations.
  
• Prepare technical and commercial estimation reports.
  
• Support tender submissions and project costing activities.
  
• Maintain estimation records and cost comparison sheets.
  

Required Skills:

• Estimation: Ability to prepare accurate project cost estimates.
  
• BOQ: Experience in quantity takeoff and bill preparation.
  
• Tendering: Knowledge of tender documentation and submission.
  
• Cost Analysis: Ability to compare vendor rates and project costs.
  
• Technical Drawings: Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.
  

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in Gulf / Qatar projects.
  
• Knowledge of estimation software.
  
• Vendor negotiation exposure.
  

Work Experience Requirements:

Typical: 3–7 years of relevant experience in estimation, costing, BOQ preparation, or tendering for engineering/construction projects.

Education:

Minimum: Typical Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or relevant Engineering field

Preferred: Certification in Estimation / Quantity Surveying

Additional: AutoCAD / MS Excel / estimation software knowledge preferred
