Project Engineer

Role & Responsibilities 

• Responsible for the technical performance on the project(s) (may be more than one). This covers Studies, medium to large FEED as well as detail Engineering projects executed by the company or a portion of major projects executed by other entities.
• Provide technical input to the project team and ensure technical compliance with project specifications, codes, standards, and regulations.
• Develop and review project technical documentation such as engineering drawings, specifications, calculations, and reports.
• Participate in technical reviews and ensure resolution of technical issues.
• Coordinate with other discipline engineers and designers for interdisciplinary coordination.
• Ensure timely delivery of engineering deliverables to meet project schedule.
• Contribute to people development by interfacing with project department and HR.
• Ensure coordination of interfaces between disciplines and departments.
• Contribute to project cost control by monitoring and reporting progress of engineering activities.
• Participate in project risk management and mitigation activities.
• Ensure compliance with quality and HSE policies and standards and ensure a safe and healthy working environment for the project team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in oil and gas project engineering and management.
• Strong knowledge of industry standards and codes such as API, ASME, ANSI, and ISO.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a project team.
• Proficiency in project management software such as MS Project and Primavera P6.
• Knowledge of HSE and quality management systems.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken. Additional languages may be an advantage.
