Sr. ARCHITECT

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Seeking a highly motivated and creative Senior Architect to lead all aspects of architectural work, from initial planning and concept development through construction support. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in infrastructure building design, structural aesthetics, and a thorough understanding of Qatars local building codes, including Qatar Construction Standards (QCS) and Qatar Civil Defense regulations. They must have strong communication skills and a minimum of 10 years of GCC experience.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a Senior Architect, you will oversee the architectural design process for infrastructure and utility building projects. You will collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to ensure that designs meet client requirements, local regulations, and international standards. Your expertise in Revit will be essential for creating detailed drawings and models, facilitating effective communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Additionally, you will provide mentorship to our architects and contribute to the continuous improvement of our design processes.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Regular communication with project managers / team / clients to update the status and to resolve any technical issues.
• Coordinates activities by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities, and directing the work of subordinate employees.
• Reviews and checks design documents for correctness and conformity with project requirements and specifications, including local and international building codes, guidelines, and regulations.
• Participate in client meetings and presentations to discuss project progress and design concepts.
• Using the TOR to identify clients needs and put together feasibility reports and design proposals.
• Initiate requirements gathering, designing, and implementing client requirements.
• Controlling projects from start to finish to ensure high quality, innovative and functional design.
• Utilize 3D for enhance project visualization.
• Review and approve architectural drawings and specifications.

• Finalize design within budgets and timelines.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelors degree in architecture. Other related experiences would not be accepted.
• Expert knowledge of construction details and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards.
