The Rising Ranks of Women in the Middle East Workplace

While it is important to point out that certain macro level indicators at the time of the report still put the Middle East region at the bottom of the list on a number of working women related issues - such as having the smallest proportion of the workforce composed of women (less than33% across the region – AHDR2005) and lower access to education generally as well as fields of education, significant advancements have taken place in recent years. This comprehensive HR study analyzes perceptions of working women professionals in the Middle East based on a cross section of professional women at all career levels, salary levels and in all industries, job roles and job locations including women holding jobs in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, the KSA, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt, Morrocco and other employment and career hubs in the GCC, Levant and across the Middle East and North Africa.
