Bayt.com has conducted its annual Middle East Salary Survey and gathered all the data you need to help you gain a better understanding of salaries in the Middle East across industries, jobs and employers. This report will give you a comprehensive understanding of salaries in UAE, KSA, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Egypt, Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia across all employers, industries, jobs and career levels.

Some findings:

  • To start with, close to1 in every2 professional exhibited a low level of satisfaction with their salary in the Middle East and North Africa, with respondents from Jordan, Lebanon and Syria being more dissatisfied than professionals with jobs in the Gulf or North Africa region.
  • On a more positive note, professionals from the Gulf (49%) seem somewhat happier with the salary raise they received in2014, as compared to professionals from other parts of the region.
  • A little over half (52%) of professionals claim that their current salary package consists of basic salary + benefits.
  • About one third (32%) of professionals report having seen an increase of at least21% in  their  cost  of living in2014.

    Data for the2015 Bayt.com Middle East and North Africa Salary Survey was collected online from March30-April62015.12,158 professionals from the UAE, KSA, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Egypt, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia and others, took part in the survey.
