We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team in KSA. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects involved with driving growth and profitability within this region.


The primary focus will be identifying new sales opportunities predominately in the KSA. This will include all aspects of growth in areas of the business including O&G, Renewables, Manpower Infrastructure, Civil, Power, etc.


Main Responsibilities


  • To work with the Regional Manager in the overall management of all regional sales and marketing activities;
  • Drive increased revenue and profit in line with the Company`s growth plans;
  • Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events as required;
  • Building and maintaining a network of relevant contacts to maximise opportunities for Company;
  • Liaise with all Regional Managers to make sure global projects are tracked by local regions;
  • Attend monthly sales meetings with commercial team and Regional Managers;
  • Work closely with the Regional Manager and Operations Manager to maintain a strong performance with all new clients;
  • Continuously manage accounts of new clients to maximise revenue for the business.

New Business


  • Research relevant projects, companies and market sectors to identify suitable high-quality new business opportunities;
  • Researching target companies to identify who makes decisions about purchasing services within Fulkrum’s scope of supply and setting up meetings to discuss and secure the work;
  • Tracking and logging all business development activities and ensuring the sales pipeline is well maintained;
  • Working in conjunction with the Commercial team to execute registration and pre-qualification with client companies;
  • Work with the Commercial team to ensure timely delivery of technically and commercially sound proposals;
  • Negotiate as required to close deals and win new clients;
  • Ensure that all sales opportunities are maximized;

Company Infrastructure Expansion:


  • Provide the Regional Manager – Middle East with detailed strategies for penetration into new markets (industry sectors or geographical locations), and support execution of agreed business plans.
  • Support the roll-out of approved business expansion plans with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
  • Embrace the evolving nature of this role, adapting with agility and positivity.
  • Champion the growth and management of the team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and alignment with the company's vision.

Your profile and requirements


  • Proven capability of prospecting, lead generation, developing and delivering sales proposals, negotiating and closing sales in the energy industry and technical services environment.
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching and interpersonal skills, with the ability to quickly build rapport with others.
  • Innovative/entrepreneurial spirit - curious about new technologies, practices and thinking and seeking opportunities to harness for competitive advantage.
  • Proven interpersonal and effective communication skills, with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders and customers at all levels.
  • A flexible multi-tasker, able to cope with constantly changing priorities and environment and the ability to manage and resolve conflict.
  • Travel will frequently be required throughout the Region as necessary.

This role is based in the office and requires frequent travel for meetings with the client. Sunday to Thursday.
