The Civil Department Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all civil engineering activities within the department, ensuring the successful execution of projects on time and within budget.

• Lead and manage the civil engineering department, including personnel management, resource allocation, and performance evaluations.
• Oversee the planning, design, and execution of civil engineering projects related to HV and EHV substations, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments such as electrical engineering, project management, and procurement to ensure seamless integration of civil engineering activities into overall project plans.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize project delivery processes, improve efficiency, and minimize costs.
• Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, resolving complex engineering challenges as they arise.
• Review and approve design drawings, specifications, and other technical documents prepared by the civil engineering team.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or issues, and take proactive measures to mitigate them.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders, ensuring open communication and timely resolution of any issues or concerns.
• Stay abreast of industry developments, emerging technologies, and best practices in civil engineering, particularly related to HV and EHV substations.

We are Looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in managing civil engineering department, with a focus on HV and EHV substations.
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex civil engineering projects from conception to completion.
• Strong technical expertise in civil engineering principles, including structural design, foundation engineering, and geotechnical analysis.
• Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team towards achieving common goals.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality results.
• Proficiency in relevant software tools and technologies used in civil engineering design and analysis.
