Ensure the compliance with Giza Systems and client’s HSE standards/requirements.
Identify the work related hazardous and ensure that all hazardous are properly controlled.
Carry out the required inspections and retain the inspection records.
Ensure that the emergency preparedness plans are implemented and communicated with the project’s staff.
Report safety opportunities, observations, near misses and incidents.
Conduct induction for new workers and ensure that they’re aware of the surrounding hazardous.
Conduct periodical awareness sessions for site workers to Promote a positive Health and Safety attitude amongst project staff and raise Employees’ awareness about environmental issues.
Ensure that PTW is issued/approved for all site activities- if applicable.
Monitor the site activity and report any violations or division from the HSE plans.
Monitor the wastes generated from the site to increase recycling and keep the records of generated wastes.
Follow up the implementations of HSE actions generated from risk assessment, audits, inspections, incidents…. etc.
Stop any unsafe conditions or acts that seem to cause incident.
Prepare, retain, and report weekly and monthly safety statistics records. Participate in incident investigation.
