Role:
To administer the implementation of comprehensive health and wellness strategy for visitors and serve as the key interface between client and its visitors to provide primary care services and resolve service and operational concerns to enhance the visitor experience.
Job Responsibilities
Leadership
Lead the inspections and tests planned to provide experience and familiarization with procedure, specific environmental issues and regulations, and practices and ensure adherence of practices to international standards.
Coordinate and facilitate the activities of the team to ensure that all work is conducted efficiently and in line with the annual business plans, policies, and procedures. Health & Safety Management• Ensure the development, implementation, and maintenance of Health, Safety and Environmental Management System.
Assess, communicate, and monitor HSSE performance and compliance against the applicable HSSE regulations.
Take part in HSSE investigations wherever required, review HSSE incidents reports, and ensure recommended preventive actions are adequate to prevent recurrence.
Review of contractor’s HSSE prequalification process and evaluation against HSSE requirements.
Oversite Contractors HSSE performance and compliance of HSSE requirements during construction stage.
Develop HSSE training programs and awareness sections to establish a continual improvement of HSSE awareness across the program.
Perform HSSE audits on projects and evaluate compliance against HSSE management system requirements and HSSE regulatory compliance.
Review HSSE reports and analysis of incident statistics, identifying trends and suggesting improvements.
Communicate relevant HSSE legislations, regulatory updates, best practices, and other standards issued by government agencies.
Follow all relevant functional policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions to ensure that work is conducted in a controlled and consistent manner.
Policies, Systems, Processes, Procedures, Standards and Reports
Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely functional MIS statements and reports to meet corporate and functional requirements, policies, and standards.
Apply HSSE management policies, procedures, and controls to ensure employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality products/services and a responsible environmental attitude.
Prepare daily toolbox talks on various HSSE topics to improve awareness and engagement.
Manage department communications and publications include HSSE daily toolbox talks, health bulletins, HSSE alerts etc.
Write up HSSE department reports, letters, memos, and other correspondence as and when required.
Collaboration with other departments on various HSSE campaigns and communications.
Conduct HSSE surveys and engage and contractors to ensure feedback and effectiveness.
Promotes the exchange of HSSE ideas and information across the organization.
Receive, evaluate, respond to all HSSE communications, and escalate complaints and inquiries.
Organize and manage HSSE department meetings (Weekly/Monthly/Yearly, MoM preparation
Support in developing HSSE Management System documents, reviews, and publications
Conduct and assist in the preparation and co-ordination of HSSE training.
Maintain document control requirements for HSSE department documentations.
Maintain department meeting schedules, HSSE team updates, Email communication and relevant distribution list.
Supporting in HSSE department KPI tracking, validation, and reporting to management.
Developing HSSE audit plan, action tracker, report analysis and communication.
Follow-up and escalation of HSSE overdue and open action to the relevant team.
Preparation of HSSE department monthly reports and HSSE annual perforce summary report for management.
Participate in HSSE system workshops, developments, trainings, and communications.
Assist internal departments on various HSSE report submissions and communications.• Provide recommendations and input for revising HSSE department procedures, work processes, and other HSSE improvement measures.
Requirement:
A minimum of 4-year university degree or recognized equivalent in HSE, engineering or related field and must have been earned from a recognized and accredited university.
Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, out of which 4 with at least 3 years delivering at the level of HSSE Manager.
NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent (NVQ5/BSC Diploma)
ISO 45001 Lead auditor
Preferred CSP/CMIOSH/ CRSP or equivalent
Proficient Writing and English-speaking skills are required.

In-depth knowledge of HSE plans formation, emergency evacuation plans, resilience/security management as itapplies to engineering consultancy/construction environments.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Experience with serving as client liaison.• Experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Power Point.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to be able to interact with the public, contractor representatives, and customers.
