We are seeking a Market Access Executive to join our team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The Position
As a Market Access Executive, you will establish and maintain relationships with health economic opinion leaders, reimbursement agencies, medical associations, and primary care organizations. In addition, you will inform and shape opinions regarding the value of our products within the health community and secure reimbursement through timely submissions and networking with key stakeholders.


Your main accountabilities will be: 


  • Create and execute comprehensive market access strategies, integrating pricing and reimbursement, health technology assessment, evidence-based medicine review, and health economic modelling activities
  • Design and implement an integrated approach to the payer value proposition throughout the product lifecycle
  • Communicate the unique attributes of our therapeutic area drugs/medical devices to external stakeholders to maximize market uptake
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative pricing research
  • Collaborate with payers, including Health Technology Assessment (HTA), reimbursement influencers, and other decision-makers to ensure fair reimbursement systems

Qualifications
As a Market Access Executive, you need to have the ability to engage and inspire people with different backgrounds. Nevertheless, you need to have a strong understanding of the healthcare industry and market access processes.


To be successful in this role:


  • Bachelor's degree in Pharma or Health Economics; Postgraduate or master’s degree is a plus
  • 1+ years of experience in Market Access within the pharmaceutical industry is a must
  • Medical and commercial knowledge gained by account management, and field sales management experience in commercial, business, and medical functions 
  • Proficiency in English and Arabic language is a must
  • Solid knowledge of delivering business objectives in alignment with multiple internal and external stakeholders

About the Department
The Market Access and Public Affairs (MAPA) function is very critical to short-term and strategic affiliate priorities. To keep the focus on those responsibilities, MAPA team members are leading the transformation initiatives and striving for cross-function execution excellence internally and in the field. The function covers pricing activities, key account management for private, Field market access, and public affairs.
