The Operations Lead plays a pivotal role in overseeing and managing day-to-day operations within a department or organization. This position requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to ensure smooth and efficient processes to meet organizational objectives.


Key Responsibilities:


1- Team Management:


  • Supervise and lead a team of [specify number] employees, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.

2- Process Optimization:


  • Analyze and evaluate existing operational processes to identify areas for improvement.


  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.


3- Project Management:


  • Oversee the planning and execution of projects and initiatives within the department.


  • Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget, meeting specified objectives.


  • Lead projects to optimize the cost and reliability


4- Resource Allocation:


  • Manage resource allocation, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to meet operational needs.


  • Optimize resource usage to achieve maximum productivity.


5- Quality Assurance:


  • Establish and maintain quality standards for operations.


  • Monitor and implement quality control measures to ensure high-quality deliverables and services.


6- Performance Metrics:


  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of operations.


  • Regularly report on performance and take corrective actions as needed.


7- Vendor and Supplier Management:


  • Oversee relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services.


  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms.


8- Compliance and Safety:


  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.


  • Implement safety protocols and standards to protect employees and assets.


9- Communication and Reporting:


  • Communicate with senior management and other departments to coordinate operations and provide updates.


  • Prepare and present reports on operations performance and initiatives.


  • End to End costing visibility for the last mile and warehouse. Daily monitoring of the cost to identify the loop holes and take line of actions in correspondence with the operations team to reduce the overall operating cost. In case of excess cost and un utilized capacity, develop a cadence with growth to increase the vehicle's effective utilization in terms of weight and volume


Location:
