Position: Strategy Project Manager

Role Purpose
NEOM requires a strategy manager to scope and manage the delivery of strategic projects related to Entertainment and Culture (E&C) at NEOM.
This role will be the main point of contact to provide advisory support to adjacent teams within the Sector, for example, asset delivery and financial teams.
This will include designing and delivering strategic projects and programmes, independently and with external agencies, across E&C’s portfolio. Strategic projects will include for example; analysing and solving problems and challenges in overall asset and program development process, financial analyses, business model and plan design, organisation and operating model design, and preparing presentations for senior stakeholders and/or strategic partners.
Key Accountabilities & Activities
- Draft, procure and manage strategic programmes and initiatives related to the development and implementation of E&C assets and programmes, including for example: asset master planning, business planning, financial modelling, socio and economic modelling, governance design and implementation, policy development, program evaluation, research design, sub-sector strategy delivery i.e. visual arts, performing arts
- Manage stakeholders including consultancies, suppliers, partners, and adjacent sectors as part of a broad portfolio of strategic projects related to arts and culture at NEOM
- Support the venue and asset development managers at NEOM plan for and integrate E&C assets as part an overarching NEOM master plan with a focus on The Line, this includes informing the strategic placement of assets
- Explore and develop innovative business and operating models for E&C assets and validate those models with industry
- Produce guidance and be the point of contact for adjacent sectors at NEOM regarding the integration and development of E&C programmes and assets
- Work with leadership and relevant team members to manage and advocate for the integration of E&C into all aspects of NEOM’s and KSA’s social and economic aspirations
- Ensure and promote the use of innovative approaches to the development of cultural programmes and assets including advanced technologies
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- 5-7 years of experience, including a minimum of 2-3 years working in a top-tier strategy consulting firm, and, preferentially, additional experience within the entertainment, arts or cultural sectors
- Experience designing, managing and delivering complex consulting projects, preferentially with experience delivering such projects within the entertainment or arts and culture sectors
- Experience in financial modelling, preferentially for entertainment, arts and cultural programmes or projects
- Preferentially experience working with government agencies, providing strategic advice and support for the design and delivery of arts and culture projects, programmes and assets
- Preferentially knowledge of best practices of policy design for culture with a focus on innovation, R&D and the application of technology
- Preferentially experience in primary market research
- Experience in a multicultural business and working environment.
Qualifications
- BA/ MA from a highly recognized institution
- MBA preferred
