 Job Description:

Our client is a distinguished Retail & Distribution company in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to join its team in Riyadh.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement a comprehensive supply chain strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of shipping and delivery processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for the supply chain department.
  • Oversee and ensure the smooth operation of logistics activities, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
  • Manage and optimize inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing carrying costs.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory and supply chain transactions.
  • Identify and implement cost-effective solutions for supply chain processes without compromising quality or service.
  • Proactively identify and address issues that may arise, such as delays in delivery or disruptions in the supply chain.
  • Ensure that supply chain processes comply with all legal requirements and industry standards.
  • Communicate and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure more profitable deals.
  • Demonstrate the ability to register products on platforms such as Saber and SFDA to legalize the import of products into the Saudi market.
  • Stay updated on regulatory requirements and ensure compliance in product registrations.

Requirements:


  • Bachelors degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in supply chain management within the retail and distribution industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Familiarity with Saudi product registration platforms (Saber, SFDA).
